Our fourth bluegrass festival was another huge success. We had approximately 1600 people in attendance and 10 bands performed over the three days. With your help we were able to give out seven scholarships to graduating seniors and an additional $2,000 to local charities and needy families.
The 5th Annual Bluff Creek Bluegrass Festival will open Thursday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Vancleave Multi-Purpose Arena and from 12 - 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8. This year's featured artists include The Larry Wallace Band, Starkville, MS, The Jason Boone Band, Brandon, MS, Delta Reign, Mobile, AL, Whisltestop, Diamondhead, MS, Harold and Ovaline Andrews, Mobile, AL, Flatland Bluegrass, Lucedale, MS, your host, Bluff Creek, Vancleave, MS., and more.
We are coming to you for your support. On the weekend of the festival, we anticipate 2000 - 2500 people in our town shopping and eating. Our desire is to continue to grow this festival as an annual event; however, we cannot do this alone. Your support is vital to the continual growth and success of the festival.
